After 10 years we decided our kitchen needed a facelift. After seeing what DBR did at our son’s house , the decision was easy. Alex helped us with his partner firms to select the colors, products and finishes that met our requirements. His staff of which included Frankie and Adrian were outstanding professionals in their trade. Not only was their work performed with extraordinary diligence but before they left for the day, the remodel area was thoroughly cleaned. We can’t say enough about the quality of work performed by DBR and have recommended them to our neighbors and friends.

My new condo's hardwood floor was damaged in the dining room and I was nervous about how repairs would look. No need to worry because now the floor looks great! I also asked DBR to paint the entire 2 bedroom condo. They were timely, easy to work with and they cleaned up after their work was completed. The condo now looks like new and is ready to move into. Thank you Alex and crew.

Extremely happy with our new driveway and sidewalk leading to our yard. I couldn't be any happier with the hard work, exceptional detail and attentive with questions or concerns. DBR Home Builders was amazing to work with from the beginning. James came in for a free estimate on a few different projects and was very detailed and diligent on rough costs, materials, timing, process, etc. He was very punctual with relaying information and made sure we got the project completed in the time we requests. Oscar and team came in and did an excellent job on our bathroom and fireplace. He made sure we liked our selections and went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly as we wanted. I would highly recommend DBR and we will absolutely use them again for future home projects!! Positive Responsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I had my closet redone and ordering a custom door took longer than it should have (not their fault), but the communication while waiting for was lacking. I assume this is because they are a small shop and pretty busy not out of malice or incompetence.

THAT BEING SAID. I had a great experience with DBR; the crew was considerate, kind and clean. They worked hard and did a good job. They completed many tasks adjacent to what I had asked for in the remodel.

Overall I am very pleased with the work they did and I would use them again. I also was satisfied with the price of the renovation -their price came below another quote I had gotten.

DBR did a great job with our condo buildings project. They were quick to respond, provided recommendations and alternatives for the project, and delivered quality work on time. Of the contractors we’ve worked with they were the most attentive and supportive. We’ll definitely be using them again!

Alex and his team worked very quickly and professionally to rebuild our basement after a flood. We had a tight deadline with a baby on the way and they completed the job well. They are on time, clean, and professional. This is the third time DBR has done a project for us, and DBR will be the first call whenever we decide to remodel our Primary Bedroom and Bathroom!

I cannot recommend DBR highly enough.

Alissa S. May 12, 2024 • Hired on Thumbtack: I am incredibly happy with the work DBR did for me. They did a gorgeous portico over my front door and all new hardscape paths leading to the front door. It’s a project I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and now we have beautiful curb appeal. I would and have recommend DBR to anyone for a home renovation project.

I needed a shower door installed this weekend. James and Ivo did an excellent job!! They showed up on time, provided really good advice and did an excellent installation, leaving the place spotless afterwards. Since the door was so heavy (81lb) they recommended adding studs which they were able to add in the adjoining room. The workmanship was totally professional and very neat. They also fixed up some caulking which I really appreciated.

Single family home with multiple flat roofs. ALL of which were leaking. Had one estimate tell me I needed to replace doors AND roof. Dbr gave free initial estimate quite a bit lower and was detailed about why I didn't need to have doors replaced. They then brought out their roof specialist who added a few other recommendations like roof venting and replacing of threshold. This brought the estimate up quite a bit but to be fair it did include a roof that I didn't include on initial estimate. The guys came, kept me updated, sent me pics when I wasn't around and overall had great communication. Was very happy with end product. I'm not super knowledgeable about roofs but they didnt seem to cut corners which my last few roof guys seem to have done. Have had 2 pretty hard rains and dry as a bone so far. If it changes will let you guys know but they do have a 5 yr guarantee.

Ivo and his team did nice job on our master bath remodel. The number of days they quoted to complete the project was accurate and the two contractors were very courteous. When we needed a 14" rough-in toilet installed and the previously purchased standard toilet returned his team handled everything. His contractor Danny did a great job installing our new tile floors. The team also installed a new electrical box and chandelier in our dining room - Adrian is very knowledgeable with electrical. The dry wall work to patch around the previous box and cap it was very well done.

I have a very bright and over the top sense of home decor style, and I'm a perfectionist. So I was very worried about hiring a team because in my mind I had big, bright dreams and I was not sure anyone would be able to first understand my vision and second execute it with as much attention to detail as I have. DBR met and exceeded my expectations. I had two projects, the larger bedroom project which was removing a load bearing wall and the old trim, repairing and refinishing my hardwood floor, installing chair rail, new base/trim and crown molding, and putting up wallpaper. I was particularly worried about my very detailed wallpaper because they were super expensive and I would have noticed any mistakes, but it came out perfect! The second smaller project was my bathroom where they also hung wallpaper and replaced all my wall accessories. All the guys that worked on my projects were very nice. When I explained my vision they got it and worked hard to do everything how I wanted it, even if I'm sure it was a bit much. I've heard horror stories where contractors quote you 2 weeks and the projects take months, especially since we were living in my basement but they came on time every day and finished it in exactly two weeks as they projected. I hope to work with them again.

Terrence was the project manager and I did appreciate how he managed my small job. The first crew assigned to my job was a no show, so my project was delayed a few days. Weather was also a factor. I couldn't immediately inspect the project because of broken ankle. I overpaid by a few dollars and awaiting refund. Overall, I am satisfied.

DBR has done a lot of work on our house. Very personable and reliable. I absolutely love their work and have gotten very close with all the workers. We absolutely love everything they have done and we are not finished. We had a deck, a wall taken down and floors redone. Loved that then decided to get our kitchen redone and I love it. We are also getting our garage redone in the summer. I would recommend DBR for all your home improvements!
